Hot on the heels of the announcement of the first significant empowerment initiatives by Africa for Africa Women Empowerment NPC, the approval and licensing Women Building our Africa Financial Services Cooperative by the Reserve Bank of South Africa in July 2020 and the launch of Women of Africa Arise Forum with representation from over 30 African States and the diaspora, 29 of which are AU Members states; Africa for Africa Women Empowerment has given birth to yet another women empowerment platform – the ASSERT Magazine.
ASSERT is positioned well to help women to reclaim their rightful position as respected leaders and change agents in their communities, workplace, and shaping the African Continent as a global player with women taking the centre stage. Our partnership with a young and upcoming publishing company Perfect Love Publications, led by a young Ms Dineo (Kay-Dee) Mashile, is a testimony of our conviction to our vision as Africa for Africa Women, that of uniting women of Africa towards the sustainable growth and development of our beautiful continent. We believe that no country can fulfil her developmental goals when 50% of its population is left out.
With 50% + of the population globally being under the age of 35 on average, we need to breed a new layer of leaders and prepare our girls and young women to take the baton and occupy these strategic positions in business, corporate and public offices as political and administrative leaders.
ASSERT Magazine will inspire, empowerment and equip women of all ages; bring hope to the disillusion to assert themselves with renewed confidence and determination, carrying that feminine crown with grace and confidence as they pave the way to lead Africa as a new beautiful bride in the global arena .
